We mill our timber onsite using our own sawmills, allowing us to process logs directly into slabs. This method ensures maximum efficiency and sustainability, as it reduces the need for extra transport and allows us to make full use of each tree. By milling onsite, we maintain complete control over the quality and dimensions of the timber, to suit our specific needs. It also allows us to minimize waste, repurposing all our offcuts, keeping our environmental footprint low. We also collect the sawdust from all of our machines and recycle everything. Any off cuts that we cannot use in the barn are used in our biomass boiler to heat our kiln.
